Manufacturing Processes Exploration of variety a variety of methods used in manufacturing. Theory and application of processes including but not limited to metal forming, welding, machining, heat treating, plating, assembly procedures, and process control considerations, casting and injection molding.

A course introducing the basics of networking. Includes network terminology, local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN). Also covers network protocols such as TCP/IP, Open System Interconnection (OSI) models, cabling, routers, and subnetting. Recommended prerequisite: ITSC 1405 and ITSC 1424, or consent of department chair.

An introduction to basic Cisco router configuration for local area networks. Topics include initial router configuration for TCP/IP, management of Cisco IOS and router configuration files, routing protocols, and access control lists. Recommended prerequisite: ITCC 1402.

Introduces the physical aspects of CISCO voice and data network cabling and installation, skills development in reading network design documentations, part list setup and purchase, pulling and mounting cable, cable management, choosing wiring closets and path panel installation and termination, installing jacks and testing cable. Recommended prerequisite: CPMT 1405.

A course focusing on advanced topics including IP addressing techniques, intermediate routing protocols, Command Line Interface (CLI), configuration of switches, Ethernet switching, VLANs, Spanning Tree Protocol, and VLAN Trunking Protocol. Recommended Prerequisite: ITCC 1406

This course focuses on advanced IP addressing techniques (Network Address Translation [NAT], Port Address Translation [PAT], and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), WAN technology and terminology, Point to Point protocol (PPP), Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN), Dial on Demand Routing (DDR), Frame Relay, network management and introduction to optical networking. In addition, the student will prepare for the CCNA exam. Recommended prerequisite: ITCC 1442.
