Topics include licensing, accreditation, compilation and presentation of data in statistical formats, quality improvement functions, quality tools, utilization management, risk management, and medical staff data quality issues.

A study of word origin and structure through the introduction of prefixes, suffixes, root words, plurals, abbreviations and symbols, surgical procedures, medical specialties, and diagnostic procedures.
