A study of the principles and elements of landscape design. Topics include client interview, site analysis, plan view, scale, plant selection, basic drawing and drafting skills, and plan preparation. Recommended prerequisite: HALT 1301.

Fundamentals of woody plant physiology and growth including techniques and procedures utilized in making sound tree care decisions related to growth pest and disease control.
