Systems biology approach, mathematical modeling of biological systems; examples from biomedical and agricultural research areas, biotechnology, industrial processes, and others. Differential equations, stochastic, feedback and control, or network models are discussed. Hands-on work via PBL modules. PREREQ: The equivalent of CHEM527, MATH535 and one of BISC302, 305, 306, 401 or 403. RESTRICTIONS: No graduate credits given for graduate students in mathematics and applied mathematics.
