This is an introduction to human nutrition. Topics will include classes, sources, and function of nutrients, digestion and absorption, and metabolism with applications to normal and therapeutic nutritional needs. This course is cross-listed as Biology 1322. The student may register for either Nutrition 1322 or Biology 1322, but may receive credit for only one of the two. (3 Lec.)
