This course is a preparatory course for CHEM 1311.

Prerequisite: Instructor consent Integrates on-campus study with practical hands-on work experience in Chemistry. Basic chemistry concepts from organic point of view, IUPAC nomenclature, structure and reactions of alkanes, alkenes, alkynes and haloalkanes, stereochemistry and spectroscopic techniques.
