Prerequisite: TRVM 1300 An introduction to non-automated airline, tour company and travel agency operations. The student will study basic city airport and airline codes, airline reservations and how they relate to computer formats and available websites. The student will define ticketing procedures, fare basis, taxes and rules as regulated by the Airlines Reporting Corporation. Hours (3 sem hrs; 3 lec)

An exploration of the hospitality/lodging industry with emphasis on its history and development with relationships between hotel-lodging and suppliers. Explains the elements of the hospitality industry including food and beverage, housing, reservations and convention services.
