Emphasis will be placed on implementation of quality improvement tools and techniques as they relate to the health information department activities of acute care hospital outpatient and emergency departments, ambulatory care settings, and other healthcare facilities. Quality improvement and assessment techniques as they relate to the medical staff will also be addressed. 3 hours lecture.
