Prerequisite: LSC 3010. This course considers management of material movement to optimize cost and customer service. Transporation, warehousing, packaging, material handling, and information processing are considered as an integrated system for customer service.

Prerequisite: MTH 2140, LSC 3010, LSC 3200, MGT 4180. This course considers analytic tools and models used to address logistics problems. Topics include network design, warehousing, vehicle scheduling and dispatching, and routing models. Interface with operations function is considered.

Prerequisite: MTH 2140, LSC 3010, LSC 3200, MGT 4180. This course considers current developments in information systems technology to support logistics and supply chain management and the integration of these activities with purchasing, operations and customer service. Decision support systems to aid logistics and supply chain functions and interfirm systems are considered.

Prerequisite: LSC 3010, LSC 3200. This course examines rate-making practice, contractural issues, regulatory issues, and public policy issues related to transportation. Factors influencing transportation costs and pricing and mode/carrier selection are considered.

Prerequisite: Audition and permission of Associate Dean for Performance Studies. Extra-credit lower division private applied study. One 50-minute lesson per week. Minimum of 18 hours practice per week required. Jury exam required each semester. ($300.00 course fee)
