Description: Hands-on production of a film in digital format. Students will develop a film from concept to execution applying skills acquired in previous courses. Prerequisite: WRIT 101, FILM 201, MCOM 226, and FILM 301 all with a grade of C- or better. Notes: Offered in fall and spring. Lab Fee: $45.

Prerequisite: Junior standing; FILM 101; GPA 2.0 or higher; FILM minor. Notes: A student may not receive more than three hours total credit in FILM 461, 462, 463 and 464. A grade of S or U is recorded. Application to the department and approval by the department chair and Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences are required before registering for the course. Description: This course is required of all BSBA students (elective course for other students) to provide an awareness of financial topics that impact the individual as a personal economic agent. The intent is to offer an introduction to basic financial topics and terminology that are relevant to individuals and households. The covered items include acquiring revenue, controlling expenditures, an introduction to taxation and the accumulation of wealth. Upon completion students will grasp the basic concepts of financial literacy. Notes: Offered in fall and spring.

Description: A survey course examining the fundamentals of financial decision making. Topics covered include: goals of the firm, financial ratios, time value of money, loan amortization, bond and stock pricing, risk and return, capital budgeting, and cost of capital. Prerequisites: C- or better in ACCT 280 and QMTH 205. All FINC courses numbered above 299 have a prerequisite of junior status, an overall GPA of at least 2.00 and a grade of C- or better in HMXP 102. Notes: Offered fall, spring, and summer.

Description: A case, lecture and computer application course. The emphasis in the course will be on the financial statements analysis, cash budgets, Performa statements, time value of money, and working capital management. Prerequisites: A C- or better in FINC 311. All FINC courses numbered above 299 have a prerequisite of junior status, an overall GPA of at least 2.00 and a grade of C- or better in HMXP 102.
