Description: Study of the causes of adult aphasia including syndromes and the evaluation process. Factors in recovery and prognosis will be reviewed. Principles of language treatment are studied with the opportunity for on-site case observation. Notes: Offered in spring. Prerequisites: SPCH 355.

Description: Practical applications of speech and communication disorders through professional practice at schools, agencies, and clinical settings under the supervision of a certified speech pathologist. Prerequisite: Minimum of 2.5 GPA and Junior Standing. For Speech majors only. Notes: Course may be repeated for credit; a maximum of 3 hours may be applied toward a degree in Speech. A grade of S or U is recorded. Offered in fall, spring, and summer.

Notes: SPED majors must complete course with grade of C or better. Offered in fall and spring.
