The internship experience benefits the students by allowing them to apply college training in an everyday job situation while continuing to earn college credit. Students will have the opportunity to choose from a variety of internship settings related to sport management or leisure services. The internship experience is open only to those students who are enrolled in either the leisure services or sports management track, have a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA, and have received permission of the Department Chair to participate in the internship. (270 hours required) Limited to majors in the department. Subject to regulations and restrictions on page 52.
