Students are prepared to provide emergency pre-hospital assessment and care for patients with a variety of medical conditions and traumatic injuries. Study areas include introduction to emergency medical services systems, EMR roles and responsibilities, anatomy and physiology, medical emergencies, trauma, and working in the pre-hospital setting.
