This course is designed for students with a background in legal research and writing who want to enhance and develop their research and writing skills. The course requires a basic understanding of legal research and terminology, as well as the U.S. judicial system and rules of procedure. Students will build upon their core skills. This course provides instruction, as well as practice, on computer-assisted legal research, including formulating on-line search queries as time saving devices, and legal writing techniques, including effective oral and written communication.
