Advanced class investigation in the history of the visual arts. Prerequisite: completion of 30 hours of credit in art or permission of the department chairperson. A total of 9 hours of credit may be earned.

An introduction to the hospital setting and patient care. Instruction in nursing skills to include CPR and venipuncture. Prerequisite: admission to an associate degree program in one of the allied health science options. Open only to allied health science students.

Introduction to the profession of radiography including professional organizations, educational survival skills, clinical education, history taking, nonaseptic technique, medical law, and ethics. Prerequisite: admission to the clinical phase of the radiography program. Parallel: AHSC 200, 224, 228, 231. Open only to radiography students.

A comprehensive study of skeletal radiographic positioning procedures; introduction to radiography, radiographic terminology, procedural orientation, and an in-depth description of human structure and function. Prerequisite: admission to the clinical phase of the radiography program. Parallel: AHSC 200, 201, 228, 231. Open only to radiography students.

Directed learning experiences in radiographic clinical procedures through a rotational system including an introduction to routine radiography, file room, and office procedures.
