A systematic study of the Acts of the Apostles and the apostle Paul's two letters to the church at Corinth. Special emphasis will be given to Christ's continuing ministry through the work of the Holy Spirit in the early church. The major themes of Paul's epistles to the Corinthians and the apostle's practical solutions to daily church problems will be examined. Application to contemporary issues of the doctrines of these writings will be given. Prerequisite: BIBL 1413
