The demonstrations, crosses and experiments are designed to illustrate various genetic phenomena, including Mendelian laws, recombination, mutation, natural and artificial selection, and interaction of genotype with environment. Prerequisite: 3083 or permission of instructor. Ecological basis of animal behavior and the role of behavior in adaptation, speciation, and co-evolution. Topics include behavioral genetics, decision making, sexual selection and sexual conflict, sociality, and human behavior and ecology. (F)
