A study of the fundamentals of New Testament Greek using translation exercises that lead the student to the reading of First John by the end of the year. Credit for the first semester is given only when the second semester has been successfully completed. A student has the option of counting Greek as either part of the religion major or as a general elective outside the major. Religion majors taking Greek must receive a letter grade.
