Includes the history, application, and interpretation of labor laws; certification, contract negotiation, and administration; and behavioral issues in labor-management relations. n 3 hours--Introduction to the microcomputer and the most widely used personal computer applications software. The student will learn essential computer concepts and the rudiments of operating systems, using a LAN network, writingwith a word processor, designing and building spreadsheets and effectively using database management systems. The hands-on approach is used extensively throughout the course.
