An introduction to the analysis of human-derived strategies for survival and expression. Consideration is given to how strategies are patterned by the limitations of environment, modernization, and biology.

A study of behavior in organizational settings as affected by individual, group and organizational processes. Special emphasis is given to learning, motivation, attitudes, stress, organizational culture, group processes, and decision making. Prerequisite: SOC1013G.

An exploration of deviant behaviors such as alcohol abuse, illicit drug use, mental illness, violent crime, prostitution, and homosexuality focusing on social definition and causal explanation. Prerequisite: SOC1013G is strongly recommended.
