A study of small groups, their development, behavior and processes within the social environment. Topics include social structure, decision-making, communication, morale, leadership, interdependency, conflict resolution, goal establishment and membership resources.

An introduction to basic principles of research in psychology with emphasis on the experimental method, including hypothesis formation, research ethics, research designs, and data evaluation. Special emphasis is given to APA publication style. Prerequisites: PSY2011 and MAT2063G.

An in-depth study of childhood and adolescent development. Topics include developmental issues, theories, and biopsychosocial factors impacting these age groups. Special emphasis is given to applying this knowledge to specific disciplines interfacing with these populations. Prerequisite: PSY1013G.
