PSYC 333: Cognitive Neuroscience

Brief review of basic neuroscience principles followed by examination of relationship between brain mechanisms and complex cognitive functions such as learning and memory, language, spatial maps, and problem solving. Three lecture hours; two laboratory hours. This course can be applied toward satisfying the laboratory requirement of the psychology major. Prerequisites: PSYC 101, PSYC 270 and PSYC 290, or consent of instructor. PSYC 330 strongly recommended but not required. Extra fee.
