As part of the process, and with the assistance of faculty advisers, they match their learning to courses offered at SFCC and request credit for those courses. After the portfolio is completed, it is submitted to the appropriate department(s) for evaluation by faculty, who determine the amount of credit to be awarded. A student may be awarded up to 30 credits based on learning documented in a portfolio. These credits may not be used to satisfy residency requirements. Prerequisites: ENGL 109 and permission.
