A general introduction to the concepts and software used in creating multimedia. Course focuses on how each element plays a role in communicating messages and how use of multimedia can increase and change messages. This hands-on survey course introduces relevant multimedia technologies, with a focus on interactive media platforms such as the web, DVDs, CDs, electronic documents and examines current multimedia trends.
