Study of basic electricity, automotive circuitry, and wiring diagrams. Complete coverage of batteries, starting, charging, and accessory systems including application, testing, diagnosis, and repair.

Practical application, analysis and repair of areas and systems covered in the electrical systems theory class, AUTT1110. Involves use of proper methods, tools, specifications, and equipment.

Study of Ford specific heating and air conditioning systems and their related control systems. Includes principals of evaporation, heat transfer, temperature, and pressure. Completion of this course gains credit towards Ford Motor Company certification. Must be enrolled in Automotive Technology Program.

This course provides the necessary service information and skills that technicians will need to be able to perform accurate, timely, cost effective diagnosis and repair of brake systems of Ford Motor Company vehicles.

Lab experience corresponds to the material covered in AUTT1210. The proper use of test equipment, procedures, and specification to diagnose, repair, adjust and/or overhaul components of the engine's ignition and fuel systems.

Basic course in analysis of qualifications and operation of cooperative internship programs, locating and researching a prospective business or company, developing a resume and cover letter, and preparing for an employment interview.
