Prereq: Sophomore standing and removal of all entrance deficiencies in mathematics. MATH 394 is not intended for students who are required to take calculus. MATH 394 may be repeated if the subtitles differ. See the Schedule of Classes each term for the specific sections and subtitles offered. Topics course for students in academic fields not requiring calculus. Emphasis on understanding and mathematical thinking rather than mechanical skills. Topic varies.
