BIOS 1010 and CHEM 1100 or equivalent After reviewing the organic functional groups and their properties, the course will entail the study of the structure and properties of carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, enzymes, and nucleic acids in addition to their metabolism and/or their physiological role in living organisms.
