Course will orient the advanced placement student to State Fair Community College's philosophy and outcomebased curriculum and acknowledge current competencies. This course will also prepare the advanced placement student for transition to the ADN program. Opportunities will be provided to review and strengthen competencies in pharmacology (including dosage calculations), IV starts and maintenance, physical assessment, and more. Completion of the course with a C or better is required to continue in the ADN program.
