Prerequisite: Honors Program admission Honors General Psychology, taught in a seminar format, deals with the scientific study of behavior and mental processes found in humans and animals. This course will partially fulfill the social and behavioral science requirement for the Associate of Arts degree and fulfills part of the requirement for an Honors Certificate or Honors Diploma. In preparation for the transition, this course will provide a review of math for nurses, pharmacology, growth and development, the normal reproductive process, and the application of the nursing process. General hospitals, clinics, pediatric facilities, and community agencies are utilized for pediatric and adult medical-surgical patients. (F)
