The theory and practice of watercolor will be studied, with students working from still life, landscape, and figure. Types of pigment, paper, and methods of paint application will be introduced. Students will also learn about the history of the media in this course. Watercolor I is open to both Fine Arts majors and non-majors as well, providing the prerequisite has been met. (F)
