This course stresses the study of the past and present philosophies of art education and the developmental stages of youth as they relate to their art making. Laboratory projects will correlate studio skills and fi eld experiences to classroom teaching. Completion of a 40-hour fi eld experience in an appropriate school setting is required. Four class hours per week. PREREQUISITE: classifi cation as a junior, EDUC 316.
