This course will cover the fundamentals of alternating current/direct current (AC/DC) electricity progressing through a lecture sequence of passive resistive and reactive components in series, parallel, and series-parallel configurations. It will also address the basic circuits and mathematics required in digital electronics filed through exploration of basic logic gates and combination circuits, display circuits, memory circuits, and various interface circuits. It is also designed to introduce students to the basic operations of microprocessors. Prerequisites: None.
