MUSC 1106: Concert Band

(Meets MnTC Goal 6) The ensemble rehearses a variety of concert band literature for study and performance. The Concert Band is open to all students. The ensemble meets the requirements for instrumentalists pursing the Associates of Fine Arts Degree in Music. No audition is required. Students must read written musical notation for their instrument. Some instruments are available for student use. One to two performances each semester. Weekly scheduled rehearsals. Additional rehearsals may be required. Students may repeat this course to gain a maximum of 4 credits.
