It includes social work knowledge, skills and value base. This course will contain a component of service learning to acquaint the student with field experience. This is a course in which the student, with assistance from the Coorindator of Work-Based Learning, is placed in a human service agency to observe the social service roles, assist in service delivery under close supervision and explore career interests and aptitude.
