Prerequisite: Minimum grade of C in PHTE 101 and PHTE 102. Drugs are studied by therapeutic classification with special attention to dosage, forms commonly used, names and manufacturers. Study is limited to commonly used drug standards of reference in each classification that are used in community and hospital practices. [Semesters Offered: Winter]

Prerequisite: Four credit hours of PHTE 255 will be taken concurrently with PHTE 101 and PHTE 102; four credit hours of PHTE 255 will be taken concurrently with PHTE 103 and PHTE 104. This is a capstone course in which the student, with help from the PHTE Internship instructor will complete 48 hours per credit hour in either a hospital or community pharmacy setting to complete specified projects or objectives. The student will be placed, supervised, and evaluated under the direction of a college staff member to insure a meaningful internship. [Semesters Offered: Fall, Winter]
