It introduces the students to concepts related to the classification, action, and implications of drug therapy. Principles governing drug absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion are examined in light of factors which alter these processes. Pharmacologic principles are adapted to developmental levels. Prerequisite: Biology 107 or permission of instructor. Co-requisite: Biology 108.
