Eligible students may apply for a cooperative education assignment. These are industry experiences that allow students to gain academic credit for an invaluable work experience in the management area. Upon completion of this term-long course, students have an understanding of the demands and expectations of business and industry. To be eligible to apply for the domestic co-op program, students must: 1) maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.75 during the entire pre-program application process, 2) maintain a clean record of behavior as defined by the Student Code of Conduct, 3) have completed 130 hours of course work, 4) have appropriate elective or practicum credit available in their degree audits, and 5) have the sponsorship of a faculty advisor.
