Hritcko The student will apply drug therapy knowledge and communication skills to the provision of pharmaceutical care in a community pharmacy. Emphasis is on further development of skills in patient assessment and patient education in optimizing response to pharmacotherapy. Hritcko The student will apply pharmacy knowledge and skills to the provision of pharmacy services and pharmaceutical care in an institutional setting. Topics include pharmaceutical procurement and distribution, quality control, formulary system, provision of drug information, inpatient and outpatient provision of pharmaceutical care, and administrative aspects of institutional pharmacy.
