Teaches verbal and physical self-defense skills from a standing position and from the ground. This class is essentially a rape-prevention course that aims to reduce fear and empower students with skills to defend themselves against physical, verbal and sexual attacks. Credit/no credit. Weekly practice of postures (asanas) build from basic poses to more challenging poses. Builds strength, endurance and flexibility through asana practice.
