It includes the study of ethics from both the individual perspective and the organizational standpoint. Special attention will be given to concrete ethical issues and dilemmas which are encountered regularly by participants in the major components of the criminal justice system. Four areas of ethical decision making opportunities are therefore studied in this course, including: law enforcement ethics; correctional ethics; legal profession ethics; and policymaking ethics.

CTD 101: Fundamentals of Commercial Truck Driving

This course provides emphasis on safety that will continue throughout the program. Students will be introduced to the controlled driving range. On the road, safe operating practices are integrated into the development of driving skills. Students drive a total of 750 documented, over-the-road miles with a minimum of 44 hours of behind the wheel training. Note: State law requires that whenever a vehicle is operated on public roads, an instructor must be present in the truck while a student is driving.
