Prerequisite: PLS 101 with a minimum grade of "C" This course is designed for the student to learn about the documents filed in bankruptcy court by attorneys representing debtors and creditors in Chapter 7, 11, and 13 cases. In addition, the course will discuss collection remedies on judgments obtained in civil court by secured and unsecured creditors.

Prerequisites: All previous coursework This course is a review of legal subject matter covered in all previous courses. There are additional topics covering investigation, domestic abuse, modification of order of divorce, and the legal office environment. The comprehensive final exam helps students prepare for other qualifying exams or job application tests they may take. Employment skills, including resume building and job search activities, are presented.

Prerequisite: Program Admission This course is a study of government and politics in the United States. The focus of the course will provide an overview of the Constitutional foundations of the American political processes with a focus on government institutions and political procedures. The course will examine the constitutional framework, federalism, civil liberties and civil rights, public opinion, the media, special interest groups, political parties, and the election process along with the three branches of government. Topics include: foundations of government; political behavior; and governing institutions.

Prerequisite: Program Admission This course will provide an introduction to various paper, pulp and machine processes, wet end chemistry, machines stock preparation, head boxes, Fourdrinier and de-watering devices, twin wire formers, dandies, multi-ply forming and press section, dryer section, testing. Also, an introduction to the finishing and shipping process is covered.

Prerequisites: Program Admission; SCT 100 This course introduces pulp screening, centrifugal cleaning, thickening, and pumping. Water and air pollution abatement is discussed and Total Quality Management, statistical process control, and International Standards Organization (ISO) registration process is covered.

Prerequisite: Program Admission (degree) This course provides instruction in, and discussion of a wide range of activities related to interpersonal and managerial skills required in today's business and industry. Topics include: an overview of industrial / organizational psychology, principles of human resources management, psychological testing, performance appraisal, training and professional development of employees, principles of leadership, motivational factors, workplace conditions, safety and health, workplace stressors and work ethics. This course is not a substitute for PSY 1101.
