Topics include stains, dyes, fillers, paints and special wood treatment techniques. Students will gain an understanding of these various processes as they produce sample blocks of these finishes. Also covers the procedures for refinishing and restoring furniture.

The student chooses their own project(s) and provides their own materials to construct project(s) using the shop facilities during the extent of the 10 week class. S/U grade.
