The objectives of this course are designed to help prospective theatre educators develop an understanding of the theoretical and applied foundations of instructional and behavioral support strategies for all learners/participants. Online and in-person activities, discussions, and projects will concentrate on how to assess and implement strategies for organizing and managing a safe and creative classroom environment. Students will learn how to develop, implement, and evaluate classroom management strategies. Students will generate a comprehensive classroom management plan for teaching theatre in K-12 schools and community-based organizations.
