This course provides the student with an elementary overview of the nature and uses of descriptive and inferential statistics. Topics include descriptive statistics, measures of central tendency and dispersion, probability, distributions, tests of hypothesis and estimation for large and small samples, linear regression and correlation, comparisons, and analysis of variance.
