Requirements in sophomore English must be completed before a student takes any advanced work in English. (MC/P) Students required to take six semester hours of literature may choose any two of the following courses unless their degree program specifies a particular sequence: ENG 2310, 2320, 2330, 2340, 2359, 2360. Only six semester hours of sophomore literature may be taken for credit. Students who earn a ?B? or higher in the first sophomore course may, with permission from the chair of their major department and college dean, elect to take an advanced literature course in lieu of the second sophomore course.
