This is a WECM Course Number. Prerequisite: Demonstrated competence approved by the instructor. Preparation of a portfolio comprised of completed graphic design projects. Evaluation and demonstration of portfolio presentation methods based on the student's specific area of study. It is recommended that this class be taken in the final semester of the program. This course is cross-listed as ARTC 2435. The student may register for either ARTC 2335 or ARTC 2435, but may receive credit for only one of the two. (2 Lec., 4 Lab.)

A continuation of ARTC 1373, advanced concepts of creative web site design are presented. Focus is on integrating graphics software with HTML editing software to produce advanced interactive web sites that maintain integrity of design. Topics also include preparation of proposals for web sites, legal issues and visual communication of concept toward target audience. (2 Lec., 4 Lab.)

The student explores all phases of the design process and client relationships in producing graphics and a complete website for an actual client. Topics include creating a client survey, preparing a project plan or proposal and contract, creating logos, brochures, and/or newsletters, creating website architecture, navigational elements, site structure, informational design and visual interface design to produce graphics, printed materials and a multi-page website for the client. Topics also include legal, copyright and accessibility issues. (2 Lec., 4 Lab.)
