This course is designed to provide a clinical experience for students pursuing a human performance and wellness degree. A one-semester internship program, at least twelve weeks, is required. Students may do the internship at one, two or three different sites (eighth weeks, four weeks or two and one half weeks at each site). Field experiences should be used to determine the site (s) for the internship assignment. One or more faculty members will supervise the internship. A written agreement listing the expectations for each internship will be provided to the supervisor at each site. Written evaluations are required from the supervisors at the internship sites and the faculty members supervising the interns.

The Geology unit will include topics from the basic concepts and techniques of environmental geology.
