A method of instruction providing detailed education, training and work-based experience and direct patient/client care at a clinical site. Student receives onsite instruction, and supervision by certified OT personnel. The student will apply the theory, concepts and skills involving specialized materials, equipment, procedures, regulations, laws, and interactions within and among political, economic, environmental, social, and legal systems associated with occupational therapy, demonstrate legal and ethical behavior, safety practices, interpersonable language of occupational therapy. Prerequisite: successful completion of all required courses and approval of OTA program director.
