This is a WECM Course Number. Prerequisite: Completion of the Level I Multimedia Certificate. An experience external to the college for an advanced student in the field of interactive media. The internship involves a written agreement between the educational institution and a business or industry. Mentored and supervised by a workplace employee, the student achieves objectives that are developed and documented by the college and that are directly related to specific occupational outcomes. This may be a paid or unpaid experience. (15 Ext.)

This is a WECM Course Number. An overview of the Internet as a marketing and sales tool with emphasis on developing a prototype for electronic commerce. Topics include dynamic data, integration, creating web sites in order to collect information, performing on-line transactions. (3 Lec., 3 Lab.)

This is a WECM Course Number. Prerequisite: IMED 1316 or IMED 1416. A study of hypertext mark-up language (HTML) and interesting layout techniques for creating engaging well designed web pages. Emphasis on identifying the target audience and producing a web site according to physical and technical limitations, cultural appearance, and legal issues. This course is cross-listed as IMED 2315. The student may register for either IMED 2415 or IMED 2315, but may receive credit for only one of the two. This course may be repeated if topics and learning outcomes vary. (3 Lec., 3 Lab.)
