An advanced course in application of troubleshooting principles and use of test instruments to diagnose air conditioning and refrigeration components and system problems including conducting performance tests. Demonstrated competence approved by the instructor is required. This course is designed to assist students in documenting prior learning for the purpose of applying for college credit. Students develop a portfolio which includes a statement of educational/career goals, related non-collegiate experiences which have contributed to college-level learning, and documentation of such experiences. This course may be repeated for credit. (1 Lec.)
